Our Journey Into Sustainable Candlemaking

Back in early 2024, we were like countless other Americans looking to start a side hustle. Our journey into candlemaking began as a simple exploration of creating something meaningful and sustainable. From the very first pour, we knew we had found something special. The moment we started working with wax and fragrances, we were hooked - it was more than just making candles, it was discovering our passion.

Learning the Art of Handcrafted Soy Candles

Those first few batches of candles were... interesting (let's just leave it at that). But with each pour, we got better. We fell in love with the whole process - finding the perfect wax-to-fragrance balance, testing different containers, even the therapeutic rhythm of pouring. We found ourselves completely immersed in the art of candlemaking.

Growing Within Our Middle Georgia Community

Our first real test was our local farmer's market here in Middle Georgia. Not gonna lie - we were nervous! But the people we met there became more than customers - they became friends and cheerleaders for our little business. Their feedback, suggestions, and genuine excitement about our products gave us the confidence to keep growing.

Expanding Our Handmade Candle Business

Now we're regulars at markets and craft shows all over Middle Georgia, and several local shops carry our candles. Every weekend, we get to chat with amazing people who share our passion for clean-burning, sustainable candles. There's nothing better than hearing someone say they love how long our candles last or how the scent fills their whole room.

The Caruso Candle Difference: Quality and Craftsmanship

What makes us different? We keep it simple: 100% soy wax, quality fragrances, and a whole lot of attention to detail. Every candle is hand-poured in small batches right here in Georgia. No shortcuts, no mass production - just good old-fashioned craftsmanship.

Our Vision for the Future

These days, we're dreaming bigger. Our goal is to eventually make Caruso Candle Co. our full-time gig and grow from our Middle Georgia roots to having our candles in stores across the country and around the world. But no matter how far we expand, we'll always stay true to what got us here - making quality candles that we'd be proud to burn in our own home.
